COVID-19 and Youth Programs

Masks:

You are responsible for bringing your own face covering which must adhere to our gym regulations (2 layers of fabric, covers nose and chin). If your child arrives without an appropriate face covering, they will be asked to buy a mask or return home.

Masks must be worn at all times during practice.

​

Your child is also allowed to remove their mask briefly to take a drink of water.

 

Spectators:

Astro-Tots: If your child is in Astro-Tots, you may accompany your child free of charge, however only one spectator is allowed per household.

​

Rovers & Challengers: If you wish to accompany your child, you may sign up online as a spectator at a cost of $10 per class.

 

COVID-19 Symptoms:

If your child is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or has been instructed to get a COVID test by their school because of symptoms, they may not return to climbing until they receive negative COVID test results.

If anyone in your household is experiencing COVID19 symptoms, please do not have your child attend climbing until that person receives a negative COVID test result.

 

Hands & Touching:

Please remind your child that touching others is not permitted. Please also remind them to sanitize or wash their hands before and after climbing. Coaches will remind children to sanitize during class.

 

Drink Breaks:

Our water fountain is currently closed so please bring a bottle of water to practice. 

 

Other:

We will need an up to date waiver (valid for two years from date of signing) for your child. Please also fill out the Participant Information Form and bring it to your first class.

 

*Registration includes a membership to the gym for the 8+ weeks of programming with free rental gear as well as a free belay lesson for a parent.

**No refunds offered after the first class. No refunds or credit are available if your child is unable to attend a scheduled session for any reason. 

***If the gym is forced to close, remaining sessions will be converted and held as credit.
